Participate in the evaluation of the requirements of new introductions (quotation process)
Provide qualified feedback about yields in MFS from ETO’s development process
Provide qualified commitment about warehouse virgin yield at OE article level to KAM’s & GTS
Provide qualified recommendations to optimize yield in order to meet desired virgin yield targets
Implement recommendations to achieve desired virgin yield targets (TU, TG, TB, Visual losses)
Drive continuous improvement activities to maintain/improve TUG/TB yield, rework and scrap
Perform thorough statistical analysis, interpret data, optimize and coordinate the process
Part of the RN acceptance/release 3-4-1 process in the plant
Be responsible for the activities of customer visit/ audit in the plant
Follow up customers' audit findings to assure appropriate measures are taken in the plant
Monitor and maintain the customer satisfaction score cards (Nissan, VW, Volvo and etc.)
Investigate the quality issues of tire production process when market complains.
Provide timely response to customer complaint and steer 8D analysis to customer complaint
Continue improving customer satisfaction
Develop the plant QMS in accordance with the IATF16949, customer and internal requirements
Assure the plant Quality Documentation system (POMS) are maintained properly
Moderate and perform Process FMEAs from the generic PFMEAs within the plant
Coordinate and perform internal and external (2nd and 3rd party) Quality System audits
Coordinate the corrective activities following the internal and external quality system audits
Coordinate and develop a pool of internal trained product, process, and system auditors
Provide Quality training (SPS, Quality orientation, Metrology) as needed throughout the plant.
Conduct, evaluate and improve MSA studies and calibration as needed
Coordinate the COP& CTD activities throughout the plant
Direct and develop the TU team, metrology team, OE dock inspection team
Lead the QMS and yield improvement activities throughout the plant
Contribute to analytics community by exchanging knowledge within continental organization
Participate in the annual budgeting process and ensure the quality department budget is appropriately met in his / her area of responsibility
Bachelor Degree in Technical or Scientific Field
5+ Years Experience in manufacturing industry (preferred automotive industry)
IATF16949 Auditor (Lead function)
Understanding the Tire Manufacturing Processes Advance TU Knowledge, Vector Seperation, 2 UPA, IPT Functional knowledge of processes and tools (QDA, FFDACS, MCAT, WAMOS,PoMS)
Understanding of key processes and tools used within Continental (TTT, QUASAR, OoY, RN)
