Direction and supervision of Production operations to assure adherence to safety, quality, schedules, delivery and cost requirements. Supervision scope includes 20 – 50 Assemblers and Team Leaders, as well as support the resource organization for Maintenance Technicians on assigned shift. Promotes the adherence to standard procedures, supports implementation of improvement projects. Ensures the generation information based on facts for best decision making related to improve productivity and work environment.
Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities.
Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
Maintains quality by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
Supports and Creates lean processes and revises procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending / implementing action.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge from the process and product.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

2 or more years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline or Management
